The rooms of the Castle are located over various buildings within the village. There are 13 buildings which maintain their authentic structure and original atmosphere thanks to a careful restoration process. There are three types of accommodations; comfort, classic, and superior, housing from one to four guests in utmost comfort.

The apartments reflect the trademark of an elegant Tuscan country life and were lovingly restored by the owner - offering every possible comfort and amenity. Each apartment is named after its original inhabitant - the house of the seamstress Niccolina, the gamekeeper's house, Celso etc.... This beautiful and well-preserved castle dates back to the 1400's and is surrounded by a park of more than 130 hectares.  The property is comprised of an elegant holiday farm and renown wine estate and would make a perfect location for your Tuscany wedding celebration. On the top of a hill, dominating the whole Greve Valley, it is only 18 and 38 km from Siena and Florence respectively. During the Middle Ages, the castle was crucial for the defense of Florence during its feuds with the city of Siena. 

During its long and glorious history, the castle has hosted various famous artists, including Leonardo da Vinci. Leonardo stayed at the castle while painting his masterpiece, Monna Lisa, and he also drew a charming and impressive picture that is still preserved among his personal documents. 

The structure is built out of solid stone and features a tall, crenellated tower and is surrounded by well-preserved manor houses and boundary walls. Thanks to careful and meticulous restoration works, it is well-preserved and has been acknowledged as a national monument.
