Weddings in Bellagio, Lake Como
The enchanting town of Bellagio may be the most famous and glamorous of all of the lakeside towns of Italy. It has been rightly described as one of the prettiest towns in Europe. Its flowering balconies, incredible views of the wharf (where orchestras serenade you at night) and bright bougainvillea plants bursting with color against old stone houses create an enchanting backdrop.
We have to agree that it comes very close to perfection! Only 1 hour from Milano and easily reached by train, Bellagio is a must for anyone dreaming of a Lake Como wedding.
Exclusive villa hotels, formerly the residences of noble families, await you for a once in a lifetime Italian Lakes wedding event. Wherever you look there are brightly colored flowers, charming boutiques and excellent restaurants serving local cuisine.
Often referred to as the “Pearl of the Lake”, Bellagio is a romantic Italian wedding destination for anyone dreaming of blue waters and incredible views. In summertime luxurious parks and gardens bursting with rare blooms can be visited and boat rides arranged to nearby towns and villages.
Bellagio is explored only on foot, where you can stop at the elegant cafes for a cappuccino or glass of Prosecco and enjoy shopping at the lovely boutiques selling Como silk, some of the world’s finest.
Bellagio offers some superb venues such as the luxury Villa Serbelloni for a glamorous Lake Como wedding.
Civil weddings in Bellagio are performed in the town hall which is an elegant 18th century lake side villa with gardens and palm trees. In the summer, if the weather permits you can have your ceremony outdoors.
During the warmer months, outdoor civil wedding ceremonies in Bellagio are set up in the garden at the entrance of the villa’s wedding hall. The town hall will set up chairs and tables for your guests. It is at the discretion of staff at Bellagio Town Hall to decide if weather conditions allow an outdoor ceremony or not.
