The Villa dates from 1790 and in 1850 was renovated in its current neo-classical form. It is located in the heart of Como town and enjoys a romantic lakeside position.
The interiors are luscious, elegant and formal, with frescoes everywhere and unique design. The lovely gardens allow you and your guests to take in the stunning beauty of Lake Como and are available for ceremonies, cocktails and reception.
The Villa offers not one but two living rooms (80 + 80 sqm) on the ground floor that can be used for an aperitif in case of bad weather, for a dinner party of about 50 people and for dancing after 23.30 when the music in outside it must be lowered.
In the second room on the ground floor there is a beautiful and chic, fully equipped bar. Perfect for serving drinks throughout the evening in sophisticated surroundings.
The garden is furnished with tables and chairs and in case of rain there is an elegant wrought iron gazebo which will easily accommodate 180 guests. A great plus since marquees are very expensive and this gazebo has a lovely wood flooring to boot!
The upper floor offers a huge salon (108 sqm) with two adjacent smaller communicating rooms (46 + 48 sqm) that can host a dinner for 170 people comfortably and a great backup option for the ceremony in case of poor weather. The venue is perfect for larger groups.
One of the plusses of Villa Geno is no curfew for music indoors - a true rarity for Lake Como's venues!

CEREMONIES
Blessing ceremonies or Protestant with Civil validity are possble directly at the villa. Lake Como's church allows Catholic ceremonies for non -residents provided your own priest will celebrate the ceremony. Civil are possible in a variety of town halls all around.

Are catered by the villa's exclusive catering company, one of Lake Como's finest.
