A variety of private terraces are available for a stunning outdoor ceremony and reception for small groups ranging from 2 to 14 to include cocktail style set up and butler service for the entire event. For larger groups, there are two restaurants - a formal dining room which in summertime also serves outside, and an informal venue.

The 13th century village encompasses a restored villa and 18th century mansion and is surrounded by a number of rustic, stone farmhouses to accommodate everyone coming to celebrate. There are fourteen suites and rooms in the main villa, furnished with period furniture and dressed up in fine Italian linens. Occasional frescoes and local marble and limestone give an artful feeling of Italian history. Artful as well is the collection of paintings and drawings decorating walls. A look out the westerly suite window spies Volterra in the distance, while another view from the east spots San Gimignano's towers. The indoor hall with its vaulted arches is spectacular magically lit at night with candles and would be perfect for either a seated reception or dancing. Aperitifs and light bites can be enjoyed outside in the gardens while guests admire the views of the vineyards and Valpolicella countryside. The entire reception can be outside weather permitting. At night torches and lanterns light up the gardens...

Wedding Ceremony

A Protestant pastor can perform your wedding ceremony directly on the property. There is a fabulous civil wedding hall nearby in a stunning Palladian villa, now also a museum. Several ancient Catholic churches are available depending on the size of your wedding party.

Owned originally by Wanda Ferragamo and her family, today it’s managed by Il Borro Toscana. This magnificent private resort is an oasis of beauty and serenity created by nature and enriched by human hands over the centuries.
