The 13th century village encompasses a restored villa and 18th century mansion and is surrounded by a number of rustic, stone farmhouses to accommodate everyone coming to celebrate. There are fourteen suites and rooms in the main villa, furnished with period furniture and dressed up in fine Italian linens. Occasional frescoes and local marble and limestone give an artful feeling of Italian history. Artful as well is the collection of paintings and drawings decorating walls. A look out the westerly suite window spies Volterra in the distance, while another view from the east spots San Gimignano's towers. Two master suites large enough for two couples each, one frescoed and both with spacious bathrooms complete with clawfoot tubs for ultimate relaxation.
The honeymoon accommodation is more than a suite: it is a lakeside Tuscan stone home where newlyweds retreat to begin their life in complete intimacy. The 750 acres of land surrounding the main villa offers plenty of free time sports and outdoor activities to do for guests fall ages including hiking, biking, horseback riding, running, Italian cooking classes, yoga, a game of bocce, or just a relaxing stroll through olive groves and vineyards are some of the other ways guests may spend their time.
