An 18th Century palace with cloister and enclosed gardens; one of the most romantic venues for a luxury Amalfi Coast wedding reception and honeymoon! 

The palace was the former summer residence of Emperor Napoleon’s brother-in-law. Its elegance has also charmed other great personalities from the writer Steinbeck to ballet dancer Rudolph Nureyev. The property has been in the same family for several generations and runs the palace hotel with care and attention to detail. The highlight of this location are the amazing gardens with lemon groves, rare tropical plans, brightly coloured blooms and spectacular centenary "Bouganvillea" tree.  Your Positano wedding and reception can take place in the gardens which at night are lit up by fairylights and candles for one of the most romantic settings imaginable.

The Palace Hotel is situated in the heart of Positano, near the "Piazzetta dei Mulini" and the beach "Spiaggia Grande", which is reached in few minutes through a small street with picturesque boutiques and shops in one of the most enchanting corners of Positano. For a romantic Positano wedding reception this location is both private and secluded yet literally just steps from the beach. The amazing gardens enclosed by a romantic cloister. The whole building is wrapped by a centenary "Bouganvillea" plant. The garden is an intimate green island in the center of Positano. Bright colors and the scent of oranges  combines with that of tangerines, lemons and enormous tropical plants. NB - no direct sea views from the gardens, only partial.

Receptions take place in the beautiful gardens surrounded by ancient plants, citrus trees, rose bushes, bougainvillea and colorful flowers. The setting is unique and when lit up at night with candles, absolutely romantic!
This is an ideal location for an unforgettable weddings in Positano.  Maximum 60 guests for reception, exclusive use fee applied from 50 guests.

Aperitifs in the Ancient Cloister
From the main entrance of the hotel you can have access to the romantic cloister, where the guests are welcomed in a setting which opens up to views of the cathedral, the town and of the gardens.

Dinner in the Private Garden area
Going down the ancient steps through the candle lit path you will enter into the private area of the gardens. For those desiring exclusivity, the ancient patio, the restaurant and the gardens can be exclusively reserved for dinners, weddings and special events for a max number of 80 people.

Dancing/loud music is not possible at this location.

Catholic in the cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, Positano, Protestant and symbolic in the palace’s gardens (rental fee applies) and civil in the open air terrace of Positano’s wedding hall.

An absolutely stunning property with breathtaking views of the bay of Positano and surroundings! We can't think of a more romantic and beautiful location to celebrate a Positano wedding or reception.  Everything is impeccably maintained by the owners who have created a Paradise of luxury and comfort.  This Positano Villa is built on a rocky ridge above the sea in a residential area in the highest part of Positano. The rooms and terraces are on different levels. The main gate leads you to the upper terrace covered with a beautiful wisteria plant.and the romantic gardens with fountain.  Stepping forward you will catch your breath when you reach the main terrace and see the incomparable views around you. 

The terraces are perfect for outdoor wedding receptions and ceremonies for various size groups.  There is staff on hand to make sure your every request is attended to and the suites and rooms are each unique, with state of the art bathrooms.  Our favorite suite is the honeymoon suite with a gorgeous pink marble bath.  The villa has a Turkish Bath and a pool with amazing views.

The Luxury Private Villa is approximately 200 meters off of the main coastal road that passes through Positano along a pedestrian pathway. There are approximately 90 steps from the main coastal road up to the pedestrian pathway which take you to the front gate of the Villa. From the villa guests can reach on foot the town centre in only 10 minutes and the beach in 15 minutes.
