Located in the North of the Siena province and rising 530 meters above sea level, the medieval village of Radda is the perfect setting for couples wishing to get married in an authentic Tuscan atmosphere. The town is surrounded by lush vineyards and forests; with panoramas that are quintessential Tuscany. The center of Radda is pedestrian only and ideal for exploration on foot.

Radda civil wedding ceremonies are held in the recently restored Palazzo della Podesta’ built in the early 1400’s and located in the heart of town. The recent restorations allow you to fully appreciate the medieval beauty of the Palace, which is famous for its ornate facade, decorated with the coats of arms of the ancient chief magistrates; 51 different ones representing the ruling families of Radda.

Regarding Civil Ceremonies in Radda
If weather permits, the wedding ceremony is performed outside, under the lovely frescoed loggia overlooking a charming piazza with fountain. The loggia holds a maximum of 25. There is also the option of holding the ceremony upstairs in the Sala della Podesta’ which holds 40 guests.
Your Radda wedding can be celebrated Mondays through Saturdays, a sworn statement is required several days prior. The civil rite can be personalized with readings, vows and music.
