We were the first to discover Lake Orta in the ‘90’s, making it known as a wedding destination for couples dreaming of a wedding in the Italian lakes. The bucolic Lake Orta - on the west side of Lake Maggiore is one of our favorite wedding locations with its cheerful flowering balconies, the lake view Motta Square and the many cafes with gardens. Orta is car free and easily reached in approximately 45 minutes from Milano’s Malpensa airport - you could not ask for more. The enchanting tiny Island of San Giulio in the middle of the lake can be reached via boat and makes an unforgettable backdrop to your wedding photos.

A Lake Orta indoor or outdoor civil ceremony is possible in a Villa with lakeside gardens or in a 16th century ancient palace with frescoes near the main square. The bride can arrive in a boat.
