One of the finest churches for your Catholic wedding in Italy!

The Amalfi Cathedral may very well be the most choreographic and dramatic Catholic church on the entire Amalfi Coast and one of Italy’s great masterpieces.  It dominates the entire piazza with its incredible grand stairs which descend onto the town’s main square.  The views from the top are incomparable.  The Cathedral’s varied style is a mix of Gothic, Norman and Moorish architecture and art with Byzantine mosaics and bright majolica tiles.  It originally was built in the 10th century and updated until the 1800’s.  The stunning bronze doors, made in Constantinople are one of the highlights of the exterior and date back to 1066.  The Chiostro del Paradiso; a beautiful and romantic cloister is highlighted by Moorish architecture and a marvelous backdrop for your wedding photos.  

Ceremony details
The church has an organ and sacred music only is permitted. Weddings are not celebrated during Lent and Easter and religious holidays.  Catholic weddings with civil validity are possible.
