RECEPTIONS

Wedding receptions at Casa Colletta offer in-house and external catering options.

The venue has its own restaurant located in the main building next to the old tower. They propose only traditional Tuscan cuisine, with an experienced "mamma chef" performing the favourite family recipes. Simpler meals are always available on request for lunch or dinner any day of the week. On request they also hold cooking classes. The estate grows its own vegetables and spices totally organic and exclusively for the restaurant as well as our extra virgin olive oil.

This beautiful and well-preserved castle dates back to the 1400's and is surrounded by a park of more than 130 hectares.  The property is comprised of an elegant holiday farm and renown wine estate and would make a perfect location for your Tuscany wedding celebration. On the top of a hill, dominating the whole Greve Valley, it is only 18 and 38 km from Siena and Florence respectively. Private Villa for Exclusive Events

This beautiful villa is part of the Castle's estate. Overlooking the main square, it offers 14 rooms, suites and apartments decorated in country period style. All rooms have a view on the square, on the inside courtyard, or the surrounding hills and the castle above and are equipped with air conditioning, minibar, telephone, Internet access, satellite TV and safe. The apartments have 1 or 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room and kitchenette.

Upon check in, guests are provided with a badge that allows them the free use of the funicular and to move freely inside the castle. The villa has a free parking area.

This old hall of the XVI century, decorated with elegant mullioned windows with two and three lights, decorated with frescoes, halberds and two large fireplaces, can give an original touch to your banquet. The hall can accommodate up to 150 people.

XVIII Century Rooms
Tastefully decorated, the rooms of the eighteenth century are the ideal solution for a small number of guests. Used alone can accommodate up to 60 people while in combination will contain up to 200.

Formal Restaurant and Gaia Room
Refined eighteenth century rooms welcome you and your guests for cheerful social occasions. The Gaia Room, so bright and decorated in Venetian style can hold up to 120 people.

Teatro Magno
In the new wing of the castle is provided with a stage, is modern and straightforward and offers a large space for up to 300 people.

The nearby wedding hall in the town of  Cison Valmarino is available for civil weddings.  Alternatively, civil paperwork can be signed at the wedding hall and a formal ceremony be arranged at the castle or in the private villa belonging to the castle. 

Catholic
A beautifully frescoed chapel is available if the diocese grants approval for a Catholic wedding ceremony.Non-denominational ceremonies can be done on the grounds or in the halls, we will provide the celebrant.

Wedding Ceremony

Your Sorrento wedding ceremony can be celebrated in one of two civil wedding locations: The St. Francis Cloisters and the Villa Fondi park. Catholic weddings are not possible in Sorrento but could be celebrated in Positano. We can have a Protestant pastor celebrate a religious ceremony with civil validity either on the terrace or the gardens.
