Malcesine’s Scaligero Castle
A civil wedding in Lake Garda can be performed in the delightful town of Malcesine in a genuine castle with turrets and one of a kind views. This is a fairytale location. The atmosphere is medieval and mystical; quite romantic and the white stoned fortress houses colourful flowering gardens. There is even the possibility of holding a marriage ceremony outside at the top of the castle, weather permitting, or in several of the elegant interior halls (holding a maximum of 60). This is one of our favorite civil lake wedding locations. Nearby are some outstanding restaurants and elegant lake view hotels for a sumptuous wedding feast. 

Malcesine’s Captain’s Palace
Malcesine’s Captain’s Palace with its elaborate interior frescoes and grand hall is a magnificent Lake Garda civil ceremony venue available for non-residents. The interior walls are decorated with incredible frescoes and the panoramic views from the palace windows incomparable. 

Regarding civil weddings in Malcesine
Civil ceremonies are performed Mondays through Saturdays and since this is one of the most requested locations we highly recommend booking with considerable advance.  Saturday mornings there is a market in Malcesine.  The town can be quite congested during those hours.
